1. Enter or Modify Price
Simply touch the current price number displayed on the right side of the Price line and enter the before-sales-tax price. The other numbers including the applicable sales tax(es) and total price will automatically update as you enter the price.
You can edit the existing price by touching the Back button at the top right of the calculator keys. This will remove the last number (or decimal point) entered.
2. Include Sale in Calculation
UpgradeIf the item or service is on sale, simply touch the % value or the dollar value on the Sale line and type in the sale percentage or discount amount. The other numbers, including the applicable sales tax(es) and total price, will automatically update as you update the sale value.
3. Calculate Price For Multiple Items
You can calculate the total price of multiple items by using the + or * calculator keys while the Price or Total values are selected. Examples:
If more than one operation is entered, the previous operation will first be calculated before performing the new operation. For example, entering the equation 49.99 - 6 followed by * 10 will be calculated as (49.99 - 6) * 10.
4. Eliminate Pennies (Round Total)

For cash transactions, first enter the Price amount and then tap the yellow penny icon displayed at the right of the Total amount. A checkmark will be displayed on the coin icon when rounding has been applied. Tap the icon again to cancel rounding.
Rounding is performed using the Canada Revenue Agency guidelines.
This feature is not available when using the reverse price calculation feature.
5. Reverse Price Calculation
If you already have the total price of an item or service and would like to determine the price before tax, simply touch the total price number displayed on the right side of the Total line and enter the after-sales-tax price. The other numbers including the sales tax(es) and before-sales-tax price will automatically update as you enter the total value.
6. Calculate Tip
UpgradeTo calculate a tip amount, first tap the yellow cup icon to display the tip calculator.
To change the tip percentage, first select it by tapping it, and then enter a new percentage.
To specify a tip amount (rather than a tip percentage), first select it by tapping it, and then enter a new amount. The matching tip percentage will be displayed.
To specify the total bill amount, including the tip (rather than specifying a tip percentage or amount), first select the Grand total amount by tapping it, and then enter a new amount. The tip amount and percentage will automatically change as you enter a new Grand total amount.
7. Split Bill
UpgradeTouch the icon at the right of the tip amount to access the Split Bill feature. A panel will be displayed at the bottom of the screen. Tap the plus or minus sign to specify the number of people with whom you are splitting the bill.
8. Change Selected Province or Territory
You can change the selected province or territory at any time by touching the name of the province/territory currently displayed at the top of the screen. Applicable tax rate(s) will change automatically.
